How to reach the developer

EmuWars is made by one person, working in South Australia. There is no studio. No support desk, no publicist, no press office.

The channel

The form posts straight to SplitForms, which stores the message and mails it on. No server of ours sits in the middle, because this site is a stack of static files with nothing running behind it. Whatever you send is read by the person who builds the game, which is also why a reply can take a while.

What gets an answer

• Press and media about the game

  Writers, video makers and anyone covering the game. Say what you are working on and what you need. The honest answer is sometimes that the thing you are asking for does not exist yet, because most of it does not.

• Bugs on this website

  A page that will not load, a codex entry with the wrong numbers, missing art, a link into nothing. Send the page address and the browser you were on. Game bugs cannot be reported yet, because there is nothing public to run.

• The historical research

  Questions about the sources are fine. So are corrections, if you bring a source with them.

On that last one, the history page sets out which parts of the 1932 operation come from the record and which parts the game invents.

What does not

• Release dates

  There is no date. The game is in development on Godot 4 for iOS and Android, and that is the entire status.

• Beta keys and early access

  There is no beta, no store page, no pre-order and nothing for sale. There are no accounts to sign up for. Anything there is to hand out gets announced here.

• Business proposals

  Publishing, funding, marketing services, asset packs, localisation, influencer bundles, store page optimisation. Anything that would need a contract, an invoice, an account or somebody on the other end of a phone sits outside what one developer with a Godot project and a static website can take on, so those messages go unanswered.

The operator

The site is run by an individual developer rather than a registered company, so there is no trading name behind it, no office to visit and no phone number to call. It operates from South Australia, and South Australian law governs this site and everything on it.
