Riverina district around Wagga Wagga and Griffith — flat irrigated wheat and rice country along the Murrumbidgee, crossed by rail sidings and canal levees.

The history behind it
The Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area was settled by WWI soldier-settlers — the very men the 1932 Emu War was launched to protect. Here the veterans have re-mobilized themselves, drilling on weekends with borrowed Lewis guns and a strongly worded petition.

Rifleman Lines of grumbling veterans behind barbed wire fences that funnel the swarm toward a single Lewis Gun Post. A Sandbag Officer (the local RSL president) speeds their reloads with his whistle.
Yanco Canal Lockhouse
Gun post · Defence tier 3
Lewis Gun Post covering the only dry crossing between rice paddies; canal water is bog tile everywhere else. Rush during the pan fumble or wade slow under fire.
Junee Rail Siding
Rail siding · Defence tier 3
Truck-Mounted Lewis repositions along the rail corridor between grain silos. Peck the tyres to strand it among the wheat stacks it was sworn to protect. Heavy Scrap from the trucks.
Wagga Show Grounds Depot
Supply depot · Defence tier 3
Supply depot doubling as the agricultural show. Cavalry Patrols charge on the trotting track — sidestep the drawn hoofprint paths. Capture bonus: the prize wheat display, an obscene Food cache.
